Privacy

What we collect: almost nothing.

WenToGo works without knowing who you are. No accounts, no booking flows, no forms asking for your life story. Here is the full picture, and it is short.

No accounts, no personal data

You never need to sign up. Search destinations, check trip dates, read every page, all without identifying yourself.

WenToGo does not collect your name, email, location or anything else through forms or interactive features.

No booking or payment data

WenToGo does not book trips, process payments or talk to travel providers. There is no checkout, so no payment data is ever touched.

Analytics (the cookieless kind)

Two analytics tools run here and neither one sets a cookie. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts pageviews and shows which countries they came from. PostHog runs in cookieless mode and shows which pages get used and where people give up partway through planning a trip.

Cookieless mode is the whole point: PostHog stores nothing in your browser and identifies nobody. It counts visitors with a hash that is rotated daily on the server, so you are a number for a day and then not even that.

No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no selling data to anyone. The two tools are governed by their own privacy policies at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy and posthog.com/privacy.

Cookies (or the lack of them)

WenToGo itself does not set any cookies. Both analytics tools are cookieless, so nothing lands in your browser to track you. Open your browser's developer tools and check: cookies and local storage are both empty for this site.

That is also why there is no cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to.

If you click an external link, that site's own cookie policy applies. WenToGo cannot control that.

No AI watching you

WenToGo does not use runtime AI. All scores and explanations are generated deterministically from researched data. Nothing you do here is fed into a machine learning model.

What the server sees

Like any website, the hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) processes standard request data like IP addresses and browser types to serve pages and block abuse. This is operational plumbing handled by the infrastructure provider, not personal data WenToGo collects or stores.

If anything changes

If WenToGo ever adds a feature that changes this privacy posture (for example, saved preferences or a contact form), this page will be updated before that feature ships.

Better dates make better trips.
